There is a new initiative called the Rainbow Library to get every school and library in the state to receive ten FREE LGBTQ+ affirming books which aligns with the new law to include LGBTQ+ inclusive curriculum in our schools.
What does this mean? You must fill out a simple form to receive the books in September. It is that easy. Please fill out the form by clicking on this link rainbowlibrary.org/NewJersey, and selecting the yellow "Request yours". Fill in the information for your respective grade level school to get on the list for the free books. Since this a new initiative, please select "No" to the first question. In addition, please select "yes" for one of the books to be in Spanish (another initiative of mine). Please know that only one teacher per school can fill out the form. Therefore, if you want each of your schools to receive free books, then different teachers will need to complete the form.

The books will arrive in September in the name of the person who filled out the form. The books would then need to be given to your librarian. I would appreciate it if you can fill out the form as soon as possible as this is a first come, first serve basis for the books.

We are looking for donors so that we can provide these books at no cost to the schools.
