We are excited to announce that the HiTops LGBTQ+ Groups will return the week of September 13th with a NEW group schedule! Groups will meet virtually, and a live option will be added once we settle into our new location sometime in the fall. New members are always welcome. Interested youth participants must fill out an LGBTQ+ Group Intake Form.
TConnect: Monday – 4pm - 5pm A social support group for trans, nonbinary, genderfluid, and gender expansive teens aged 14-18 who want a place to meet and talk to other teens who are also navigating their gender identity and expression. First & Third: Wednesday: 4pm - 5pm A social support group for LGBTQ+ teens aged 14-18 who want a place where they can create a community of friends, participate in fun activities, and get advice from peers about navigating high school as a queer youth. Young Adult Spot: Wednesday: 6pm - 7pm A social advocacy group for LGBTQ+ young adults aged 18-24. A place to discuss and work towards social justice through dedicated volunteer team projects. Participants will gain leadership and advocacy skills as well as make new friends and create community together. Banner: Thursday: 4pm - 5pm An educational support group for youth aged 11-13 who are interested in learning more about the LGBTQ+ community and asking questions about gender, sexuality, and identity. TransParenthood: Saturdays: 11am - 12pm A weekly support group for parents and family members of trans, nonbinary, and gender questioning youth. Share your experience, hear from others, and gain support for you and your child’s journey in the comfort of a judgment-free space. To join, complete the TransParenthood Intake Form.
